Seeing a white empty block space on the top right corner above 'Your Page' on Facebook

Is anyone seeing a white empty block space on the top right corner above ‘Your Page’ on #facebook?

Inspect Element says:

<div class="_1-ia _11qy" id="fb_stories_card_root"><div class="_4-u2 _1-ib _2tyk _20os _4-u8"><div id="u_ps_0_2_0"><div class="_60kg"></div></div></div></div>

Are you looking at the browser version or the app, if the latter, which platform are you running it on.

Browser: Firefox.

I’m not seeing it in Safari on my iPad. I’ll have a look at some other browsers later when I’m on something larger.

I noticed it yesterday.

That whole empty block element would be this.

<div class="pagelet-group pagelet" id="stories_pagelet_rhc" data-referrer="stories_pagelet_rhc" data-display-group="rhc"><div class="_1-ia _11qy" id="fb_stories_card_root"><div class="_4-u2 _1-ib _2tyk _20os _4-u8"><div id="u_ps_0_1_0"><div class="_60kg"></div></div></div></div></div>

All that really tells you are that FB have created a bunch of nested <div> tags for some reason, and that they are currently empty. Given that they regularly test features on a small sample of its user base, I’d not concern myself about it too much. The blank space will no doubt get filled with something, or it’ll just disappear again.

Well, I just submitted a report to facebook detailing it. I’ll see if I hear back.

I have an update to report.

That white block space is no-longer there.
