Search result titles are not hyperlinked

Hi,
I can’t figure out why the titles of my search results are not linking back to the found item based on the following code in content-search.php

<?php the_title( sprintf( '<h1 class="entry-title"><a href="%s" rel="bookmark">', esc_url( get_permalink() ) ), '</a></h1>' ); ?>

search.php pulls in content-search.php which contains the code above.

I have just noticed that the admin ‘edit’ link on the search results page is not working either.

Any help appreciated.

The

div.row {
 position: relative;
}

has something to do with it, though I don’t know exactly what.

Removing that style makes it a reachable link.

Cheers Mittineague,
Good spot! unfortunately removing the relative property explodes previous absolute positioning I’ve used to position a CTA widget. I’ll battle on - thanks again.

I found a fix. I deleted a couple of bootstrap styles and the offending surrounding div.row just in search.php. Works for me :grinning: Do you use Kalaesescope for text dif comparisons? Awesome!
