Sass tuts?

I was wondering how many of you use SASS and how you went about learning it. I finished going to school for web development and have a great understanding of css, but didn’t learn anything about pre-processors like that…

I don’t use any of the css pre-processors - I prefer to use straight css for my projects - but at some point I would like to learn SASS just to broaden my knowledge. SitePoint’s Premium has some good video tutorials such as Step by Step Sass, and books such as Sass for Web Designers.

In addition to what @WebMachine listed, we have a Sass section on SitePoint, and a Sass reference written by Hugo Giraudel. We’re also working on a book (Jump Start Sass) which will be released in the next few months.

Hope that’s enough to get you started

I have been using Sass for sometime now, but I still learning new stuff with it. I find it a great time saver and saves a lot of rewriting CSS when you go to new projects. I like the nesting feature the best, but there are a lot of other cool things that can be done with Sass.

I got thrown in a job that uses it.

If you know CSS, Sass is a really quick pick-up. So I recommend getting your base CSS skills up to parr.

Cool, Thanks for the reply. My base css is great, been at this for awhile and went to college to update my skill set. I’ve been looking at their home page, seems kinda redundant. Idk…
