Running a Scavenger Hunt

Good Morning SitePoint-ers:

I am interested in running a scavenger hunt for my company, however, I’m encountering a lot of skepticism from my team, since they believe something like a scavenger hunt would take too long to set up. Nevertheless, I am very interested in running one because I think it’s a great CTA and objectively, may renew interest in my company’s Facebook pages.

Anyway, I was scouring Google this morning, but have not found a lot of information about ‘administration’ element of the campaign.

Bottom line, I don’t think this exercise should be as timely as everyone is painting it out to be.

If any of you have any suggestions or links you could suggest to help me get a scavenger hunt up and running quickly, please do not hesitate to contribute!

Best,

J.

thank you for that! i sincerely appreciate it and look forward to conducting my first scavenger hunt. I will be sure to let you know how it goes.

Hey, no need to reinvent the wheel here. Check out this link and apply it to your specific purpose: http://www.diva-girl-parties-and-stuff.com/scavenger-hunts.html

I know, it’s a strange place to get ideas, maybe. But it was a simple Google search that led me here.

I for one LOVE scavenger hunts (maybe because I always win? ), and I applaud you for pushing this idea. I think it’s awesome.

(Do yourself a favor and log EVERYTHING going into the planning, set-up, implementation and the RESULTS. You can tweak the idea next time to make it more effective. Or, if it’s a bust, dump the idea. At least you’ll know.)
