Hye, I need to know what is the role of system analyst and what requirement skills to be a system analyst. How many types of system analyst?

Basically what a systems analyst does is interview people with a goal to being able to write down what the system is required to do. So the two main skills are being able to interview and being able to write down what you learn in a way that others can understand - in particular in a way the systems designers can understand so that they can write the system specifications etc.
I did a one week live in course on systems analysis about 28 years ago and a significant part of the time was spent on roleplay interviews with the course trainers pretending to be the various people we chose to interview.
It is probably one of the few jobs that is now mainly computer related that has been around for a lot longer than computers have.
