Replacing Google Analytics

Now that Google is trying to kill Net Neutrality, I’m officially off the bandwagon. What a bunch of liars.

I haven’t used much on Google except the search engine and analytics. I guess I’m switching to Yahoo then, though I hate how long the silly page takes to load; if anyone has an alternative, I’m willing to experiment.

My main question is about analytics packages? Or do you just code your own? Iterating over the Request.Params collection makes it really easy to grab all that information and more (though I don’t understand where screen resolution data comes from). So the only two main issues for replicating GA is finding a service that equates IP to geographic location and a data visualization tool. I’ve never worked with either of those two functions. Any recommendations?
