Remove PNG Gamma Info on a Mac

[FONT=“Georgia”]Hello!

I need some suggestions please, from the Mac users out there.

My PC died recently so I’ve been doing my web dev on a Mac. So far so good, but I’m having a huge problem finding a tool to strip away the gamma info from my PNG files.

On my PC I used TweakPNG.

I’ve been googling for an hour and can’t find any similar program for Mac OS X 10.4 .

I tried PNGCrusher and ImageOptim so far with no luck.

Have any Mac users out there already solved this challenge?

I had the same problem recently Shaun, strange :smiley:

I’ve found this for you, seems that it might do the trick:

GammaSlamma 1.1
OS version required: Mac OS X 10.0 or later

ref: Free GammaSlamma 1.1 mac , GammaSlamma 1.1 mac free download

[FONT=“Georgia”]Dude!

It worked! :tup:

Thanks.

The PNGOUT port for Mac might also work: http://www.jonof.id.au/kenutils
