Remove extra space to the right of Tweet button?

I’m trying to arrange the Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest buttons horizontally. There is a gap to the right of the Tweet button that you can see if you highlight the sample button below:

It’s especially visible if you enter a URL with a small number of tweets before highlighting. Does anyone know how to prevent this?

If you’re familiar with CSS, you may be able to get rid of it with negative margins. Given the fact that millions of people use these Twitter buttons and probably don’t do too much customization, it’s probably not a really big deal to worry about. It might be one of those things that bugs you but none of your visitors will even notice. I’d be curious to see it on your site and see the problem live.
