Options are heavily restricted at work and it doesn't seem as if compatibility mode can be changed in IE. I have tried saving the file as aspx but that didn't work and I have also tried adding the following to the 'head' tag but this didn't work either.
meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=9"
I may have to turn to hosting the file elsewhere and was wondering if anyone could advise me on whether or not any of the following are possible, please?
Storing an HTML file at a file host site, cloud, etc and if a link to it is sent to someone or published, when they click the link, the file opens directly in the browser without a prompt to save it. If this is possible, is it also possible for the link to open directly without having to click an extra button to 'Open' it, etc?
Have a webpage that cannot be searched for on the Internet by anyone but allow it to be accessible to those to whom the link is sent (directly opening in the browser) without them needing to enter a password?
is there any other way?
