my boss asked me to run a campaign for our online store. we will be spending 10k to bring in new customers. which adnetwork do you recommend?
we are not intrested in adsense at this point.
please recomend only if you actually tried the network as an advertiser not as a publisher.
post networks you recommend and those we should avoid
There are lots of ad networks which are operated all over the world. You can advertise your online store product through Facebook social ads,Google adwords,Yahoo marketing and Microsoft Adcenter.First you have study the type of your product and the main customers for your products or services. Then you can take proper decision for advertising on a network.
Apart from Google, the next best would be Yahoo Publisher Network and Inmobi. I have used these two before with good results. So would recommend them but always check according to your product/service will it be best or not.
Try reputable Ad Networks like valueclick, admeld, kitaramedia, casalemedia, fidelity media, adbrite. Just ask them for a test first splitting your budget between them. Many will try making you sign for big amount of money to spend from the very beginning, and a good way is using some Self Serve Platforms like BuySellAds or McTraffics.
Try Advertise.com, Chitika, Adknowledge, Bidvertiser (they give $20 in free clicks and you can free to try), 7Search. Don’t try all companies at the same time it need some research to choose what will best for your site.
I currently use Buysellads as both and advertiser and publisher and get great results. They only accept quality websites and if your target the right sites I have found the ROI is good.
My advice with Buysellads is target smaller/medium websites that receive quality traffic with good ad positions. You tend to get a better price overall.
