I’ve been looking for how to prevent QuickTime Viewer from opening PSD files. There is no option to disassociate PSD from QuickTime Viewer, and I can’t get Windows to apply PSD files to Photoshop. I’m hoping someone can help ?
Iirc there are at least two ways to change file associations in Windows:
-
Right-click on the file and chose “Open with”. Then tick the option “Always use this application” and Ok.
-
Open Explorer and click menu “Tools” and chose “Folders” (Or find “Folders” in the control panel), from the file-tab you can change any file association.
I’m on GNU/Linux and have not used W7 so I hope this can be of any help.
I had tried that solution, it didn’t work Such a minor thing causes such a headache. Argh !
Solved!
