How to market my website on the internet?

hello I am new member here on SP. The reason to come here is my website marketing. My site name is <snip> and <snip> is a discussion forum for webmasters and Windows Linux users.I am posting my knowledge on it.But problem is no one know about it. That’s means no traffic on it.I just want someone who help and guide me to market it on the net.I am a student and every one knows students are not so rich. haha .So free Market methods are preferred and helpful for me.
