Problems with AT&T internet

Well, well, I’m getting sick and tired of At&T’s support team - my internet has been facing connectivity problems for the past 4 days - I’m supposed to get a download speed of 3 mb, but I’m getting 0.50 to 1 - they were supposed to send a technician out today from 8 am to 12 pm, but no technician has been sent yet.

They escalated my problem to “major”, but the lady told me that their workload here has been pretty tough today - but then again, why did they schedule the appointment yesterday to begin with if they couldn’t keep it?

My mom is thinking about switching us to comcast because of these issues, but I’m not sure yet - has anyone here ran into problems with AT&T internet?

I have a wireless modem - w2 I believe or something like that.
