Poss CSS/IE8 issue

Hi all, I’m having a massive issue with IE8 rendering a right hand column incorrectly and it is doing it in a weird way.

If the column contains either only text or only imagery it stays in the correct position, however if you put both together then it gets completely thrown out and I cannot for the life of me sort it out.

The right column is fine in all browsers including IE7 but just not IE8, here’s a link to the page http://www.primare.org/?p=106

I’ve tried adding the IE7 emulator meta tag but that doesn’t seem to be working.

I would really appreciate a fresh set of eyes to help me with this as I’ve been battling this problem since before Xmas.

I’m not looking deeper now. But, what I do, I first validate the code of those asking help, because tag soup is one thing browsers also treat differently.

I did so with yours too. On the first look you have a number of errors, amongst which the more severe being the wrong closing tags: <a/>.

I usually validate after I’ve made all the changes I need but I never thought about doing it now, you’re a star :slight_smile:
