Placing my new logo in Joomla 1.7

I am new to web design and am currently having a logo designed for my website. I want to place the logo above the navigation bar, where the orange banner is right now (here is a link to my site: rotosummit fantasy baseball, so you can see what I mean). I also want to run a 728x90 ad (through google adsense) alongside the logo to utilize the more space. To create my template I used the artisteer program. Do I have to code my own template position, or is there something that I can do with the template in artisteer, or what? Any suggestions or advice would be appreciated.
