PHP execution Order

I have a script that takes about 50 seconds to process, but im trying to figure out why things dont seem to be going in order.

Here is what im trying to do:

  1. select a group of 10 ID numbers, insert into array.
  2. go through ID numbers, delete them from the table
  3. go through ID numbers, process each one of them. (this is the step that takes forever)

My problem is, the browser is still processing everything in one long go. How can I have it delete them from the table practically instantly then go to work on processing them.

Any help?

I have figured it out, thank you anyways. Check my other post about Web Crawlers if you are looking to help me

It sounds like you need to explain what ‘processing’ means.

Can you post some code?
