Photoshop Save for Web: Problems

Hi everyone,

One of my slices is fairly big and for some reason Photoshop does not want to compress it according to my settings in Save for Web and Devices. There, I put JPEG 95 and I can see the slice looking very good.

But then when I open the images generated by Photoshop after pressing the Save button, I see that this particular slice, the big one, is horrible and has nothing to do with what the preview just before pressing Save.

This occurs only with this slice, not the rest of them.

Note that the same happens with CS3, CS4 and CS5. Never seen that!

Any idea?

Sounds weird, are you sure that you were looking at “optimized” preview window and not “original” image window? It’s not about the colors right? Colors could be different due different image color profile.

Wow, that’s strange. You don’t have multiple slices stacked up by any chance?
