Well since you are in the US, you could check out 2CO. Their are others as well, but not as cheap / might require a deposit actually. But if you are processing over $1,000 a month, you should consider a merchant account
Well we live in Montreal and are taking them to court if they don’t pay up. Sent a balif last week to deliver our demand. They have some time to write us a check. Anyone else here taking them to court?

Well no reponce from them yet, but we are using 2checkout.com for a while and they are great! no complaints what so ever.
Ive yet to hear from them either. They owe us in excess of 10k USD. Their live support doesnt work, their help form inside the control panel doesnt work, theyve removed their phone numbers from the site… and still no response.

Here is something that made me laugh today. I logged in to my account and they just charged me 650USD. so i called and he said it was a fine because i had to manny chargebacks, is 5 too many? oh and i failed ot mention they did no investigation even when i proved that the customer received the items with their signature!!!
These guys (paysystems) are crooks. What are they going to charge me next? Well looks like im taking them to court. This is outragous!
Paysystems seems to be going down for sure. Like Corey said, if you live in th US you will have to choose between 2CO (which is a reliable system but a little xpensive), ikobo (reliable,slow transactions,lower fees) and worldpay (very expensive but also known as a reliable company).
@xrecon: you shoud do that. Did they specified on their website about those fines ? If not, then you should definitively do something about that.
Haha, yeah. They’ve reopened, and all the old accounts are still active. On top of that, it seems they’re chargnig people with chargeback fees from the past few months. Man that’s funny. They close without notice, screwing people over thousands, if not millions, of dollars, and then they go charging people for surcharges that happened months ago.

Anyone stupid enough to still be using Paysystems deserves what they get. As the saying goes, “Rip me off once, shame on you; rip me off twice, shame on me.” I only hope that everyone who has ever worked for Paysystems burns in hell for all eternity.
3rd party processors has taken a hit big time and taken alot of merchants down with them.
I don’t agree. Thanks to 3rd party processors, many small companies have the chance to grow to become real businesses. paypal, ikobo or 2co and others have their place in this industry you know… I read a lot about them and everyone has it’s pros and cons but they are a necessity in my opinion.
No doubt just the mention of Mr Philip Fayer gets you so angry your blood boils
He stole from you as he did indeed steal from me
