Page width too wide in IE7

I’m hoping a fresh pair of eyes can help me out with this one.

My new design seems to be working fine all all browsers apart from IE7. IE6 and IE8 are fine.

When viewed in IE7 the page width must be too large for some reason as the scroll bar at the bottom of the browser is visible.

It also seems that no matter how large I make the window, the bar is always proportionally the same size.

Aha, I think I found it, issue with Italics and hasLayout.

Bloody IE!

Just looked at it in IE8 and IE8 in IE7 mode both looked OK - no horizontal scroll bar
