I have tried everything to find out why my website’s heading on FF on my Mac shows perfectly well and when I open it on my Dell whether it’s FF or IE,
the greeting message overlaps the heading. I would really appreciate if someone could help me figure out how to make my greeting message to appear on the right place on my PC. I also have a problem of resolution on the PC. How can I correct that?
Hi BeeB,
I will try to make some screenshots on mac and on my Dell laptop. On Mac, it doesn’t have any resolution problems. I wish it was the other way round as most people use Windows and IE. Thanks again for your help! I will correct those mistakes.

I just did a view source on you’re home page and it looks like a few syntax errors are there. If I could see some screenshots on what it’s supposed to look like vs. what you are getting I might be able to help a little better.
No problem, I did notice that when you click one of the last 3 menu options the menu appears outside of the background color though. Does the same in IE and FF.
I actually went and checked it on my other computer and on IE8 it’s still overlapping! On FF it’s not! I really don’t understand all these changes. I suspect something is wrong with the way I added the “divs” or the position
You image is a massive 2119x1405 px, forcibly compressed on the client’s computer to 250x350px. It is a 1.6Mb download and on the slow line I’m using while working away from home it is a tedious download.
You MUST resize images in your photo-manipulation software and not force the user to download your huge files! Dragging an image to look smaller does not mean the image the user downloads is any smaller at all.
An image that size should be around 30Kb, not 20 x bigger at 1.6Mb
