I came to you with a very unpleasant topic about online classifieds. Though, this has given advantages to many but I am not getting benefited in terms of traffic and money.
The biggest disadvantage of online classifieds is that the ads fall so far down the list that they will stop creating traffic for the site. This way neither site owner nor ads publisher take advantage of this online facility.
Sometimes we put up ads that will expire in a week and sometimes they last for 45 days or more.
So, what should we say for online classifieds: A curse or boon ?
Classifed ads are good for getting traffic. The thing is where you provide services and where you place the ads. Try with paid classified ads which could help you by lasting more than a year and displaying your ads on top.
They could accelerate traffic to your website for some time but the main thing is your product or content whatever you offering could
retain or may be double the traffic. So first analyze the add, does it really signifies your product core or its vague for visitors. Secondly
the quality of your offer counts in increasing the visitors! Good luck.
I’ve been posting on classifieds for a week now so I still can’t say if I already had an increase in my traffic. I don’t think 1 week is an enough basis to tell if it is effective?
No it isn’t as many of the marketing companies and business ads agencies or companies like web designing and web development are still doing their business’s advertisements on classified ads and are achieving the best results.
Most of the classified sites are free to use and almost all of them provides “Nofollow” links so you may not expect to get any sort of SEO benefit from them. But, they are free source of traffic. Posting an ad cost you nothing but some time. Why would you neglect this kind of golden opportunity? Regardless you get any traffic or not. But you can target 2-3 classified sites which have got the maximum traffic flow.
I think online classifieds produce quick results and require very little physical effort. Placing an ad can bring traffic to a website almost instantly. If done correctly, one can generate a boat load of traffic from classifieds.
Hello friends, In internet marketing we always are not sure from where we will get traffic. Classified is good option but only we can get traffic if ad is permanent and the most websites are paid for permanent classified. The only option for free classified is to renew ads in month with attractive profile. We can ad images and new title description. On the top site of related niche. I think it may works for increasing traffic.
Classified is no longer important for SEO purpose but this depends on who is handling what services . Websites like a hotels, salon and spa, medical transport those are the categories that should be generally used for Classifieds… This is just an example which tells us that classifieds work only in certain categories
