One way linking

That seems a very curious strategy. Why are you recommending this approach? What advantage does it have?

To all posters: Please give reasons or examples to back up your replies. Otherwise, the thread just becomes a list of contradictory opinions which is of no benefit to anybody.

Think if you get one way free link then why you go for two way link :)?

one way link is like you don’t need to pay and you get free link

I prefer one way linking… Also I notice that reciprocal linking provide negative results.

What do you mean by “negative results”?

Everyone do linking/backlinking to get hike in SERPs. So here negative results stands for SERP droop… If you are at page 2nd and trying to be on first but unfortunately you thrown on page 3rd due to technique you use, then the result will be called negative result.

But that’s the case with any poor technique which you use, or any technique which violates the search engine’s TOS.

Reciprocal linking is not, in itself, a poor technique. If used properly and in moderation, there is no reason why it should have a negative effect.

May be you are right but I am not agree with you. I had live example of it. Now the website has been recovered so I can not show you. Also I don’t know whether I am authorise to use URL here or not. That person use reciprocal links and the web page goes out of first ten page from first page.

If you link to related useful sites that makes your site more useful to people interested in the topic as your site can become their portal to the topic.
