I have an old website that was very successful and busy 3 years ago (i used to get over 1 million page views a month - I know I destroyed the website) - I couldn’t manage the website anymore because I have a full time job…
Traffic dropped significantly because I stopped updating it. (around 100 visitors a day)…
It a very basic website, I used to post new music video clips on it when they come out…
now with Youtube taking over and having all new videos posted on it, I find it hard to keep up, quality and speed…
I want to relaunch the website and I want your advise and feedback regarding how to relaunch and if it would be possible to succeed…
I was thinking since Youtube has everything maybe I can create a directory to all the videos on youtube based on specific artist, so instead of looking for something on youtube I will index and categories the videos on the website and just embed them…
also, i used to have people comment on all the videos, review and such, so maybe I can have Facebook comments integrated into the equation,…
last but not least is to write an article on a weekly basis reviewing a stuff and talking about the industry…
I already have a Facebook page for the website with over 650+ likes…
now what do you think of the changes an do you think that would entice people to visit the website again … should I integrate other features,
any advise would be helpful…
