Not transfering variable values

ok so i have a form which ment to collect client info and email it to me, however when the form is submmited it send n email but excludes all variable values even though they were present. i check all the form elments and they have correct names and the php code is fine so ii have no clue why this is happening. im collecting the values through post and in this form $fName = $_POST[‘fName’];.

p.s. id rather not give out the code if you guys can figure it out with out it

Thank You

It isn’t.

We can’t.

:stuck_out_tongue:

yah :slight_smile: i figured as much so here you go

$fName = $_POST['name'];
$_POST['lname'] = $lName;
$_POST['email'] = $email;
$_POST['address'] = $address;
$_POST['phone'] = $phone;
$_POST['site'] = $site;
$_POST['product'] = $product;
$_POST['description'] = $description;

this isnt the entire php code but its what i assume is the problem area since the rest is just email stuff and that seems o waork fine

never mind everybody i fixed the issue, it was just that my provider had changed the php settings and i had just to change them back.

but thank you anyway :slight_smile:

Just in case you’re still having issues, you’re assigning the variable the wrong way round. They should be like so…

<?php
$fName = $_POST['name'];
$lName = $_POST['lname'];
$email = $_POST['email'];
...
...
...
$description = $_POST['description'];

I’m glad you fixed it though. :wink:
