I am trying to install mysql 5.1.58-win32.msi i’ve follow all instructions everything going well until I reached to Mysql Server Instant Configuration part I know you have to be patience and wait a little for mysql to sort itself out but it takes for ever like 30 minutes or more is this normal or is there something I am doing wrong? Last night I had to cancel the installation as it went on for ever and now it’s doing the same thing.
If anyone else had the same experience and solved it please let me know.
Thanks for your reply appreciate it, I prefer to install them individually I shall keep trying and see what happens or I might check if the host already have php, mysql available.
Thanks for your reply I think it is a better idea as I just cannot install mysql I’ve heard mentioned that host can get rid of client’s own php, mysql and use their own.
USBwebserver
Zero installation. Just unzip it and click on the .exe file to run everything.
You can copy the folder and stick it on a CD or usb drive and give to a client. Can even run from a usb drive (CD too, but not writeable, obviously)
And it’s free.
