NetBeans desktop application

I’ve been using NetBeans to do PHP/MySQL sites and I like it. Now I need to create a desktop application to update a MySQL database, for another person. Found some sample directions on NetBeans but it only uses one table. So I am hoping someone can point me to some directions that use more then 1 table.

Just in case you’ve got a Mac, I think you can work with MySQL via Coda (an editor for Macs).
