Need to learn to theme WP

Hi,

I need to learn to theme wp full custom theme from scratch.
& wanted to know what is the best resource out there?
& one that is up to date with latest of WP 3.0 I think.

Any help will be much appreciated.

Off topic is WP good for large content website?

I’m not sure about 3.0
I’ve used this on 2.9, but it never hurts making this a weekend project for 3.0
Are their any major differences/changes in 3.0?

Ok thanks & will give it a try & see as i have 2.9.2 & was thinking of downloading 3.0 now & try 2 get a custom theme working.
& how long did it take you to go through the tut you sent me?

Not sure of major changes & stuff & only read about some design changes they doin for 3.0.

Thanks I have seen & does this work with the most up to date version of WP?
As they releases WP 3.0 soon or has been already.

Just want up to date info & stuff as to make learning easier for me.
