I’m in the middle of putting together a new site and while I’m not new to css I struggle with it to some degree. I’ve managed to remove a table that was unwanted from the wordpress theme I was using but now I’m lost as to how I can correct the glaring error this has caused.
My site is adult in nature so be warned before you go click to see what I mean by mistake. I cannot figure out what I need to do to make the site of the day box line up across the top of the page under the header.
site is: <snip/> Warning adult content
I used firebug to inspect it and this is the code it produces:
I have no idea what you are talking about but if I’m doing something wrong I can assure you it wasn’t done on purpose. I would just like some help with my css.
Okay I see what you are saying my bad. I am using a wordpress theme and this was part of the theme. I’d be more than happy to let you know where I got the theme from and it’s name if there is a problem and you need to contact the authors. I was unaware that png was even there and I’m truly sorry if I have offended if anyone, it was not my intention by posting here.
I went to the site and saw the problem but I’m not a CSS guru and it would take me a while to spot the culprit and figure out a solution.
The only thing you did “wrong” in your post is links to adult sites are not allowed in the forums.
That said, if one of our “more senior” members asks, please send it by Private Message only.
What I was referring to is the code you posted
I used firebug to inspect it and this is the code it produces:
I just wanted to say thanks for the help I know have the problem fixed and my sanity restored LOL
I also checked and Ralph is correct in that the site does not have that png but the code as he stated, so no worries there either thankfully. I also apologize for posting the link, I didn’t realize it was a nono here hence the warnings before and after the post, but I will know next time and won’t do it again.
Anyway once again thanks for the help, I appreciate it!
