Need opinions on best disc jockey software

Greetings;

I am thinking about putting together a 15 minute music show for a conventional airwaves broadcast radio station. The 15 minutes of airtime costs $30.

The radio station says that I can prerecord the show and that they can play the prerecorded show.

I need a software program that can help me to record the show. I am just now starting to learn about broadcasting.

C|Net dot com has got a list of the various DJ Software programs.
DJ Software - Free software downloads and software reviews - CNET Download.com

Is anybody familiar with any of the software programs listed on C|Net or other DJ Software programs not listed there?

I would appreciate any input.

Thanks.

A good friend of mine Dj’s and uses Virtual DJ, He said it was easy to use and comes with alot of cool and different features. THere is also a free version you can try it out and see what you think of it.

Mixx is worth a look

Virtual DJ is free but DJ software is not much use if you have no turn tables if you want to scratch. If you just need to over lay music and voice track + queue it is enough

The software that comes with Pioneer DJ kits are also worth a look.
