Need help with Qmail or Horder

Hello,

We use Qmail as our email server with Horde for our Web based client to our emails.

As of lately though we are having strange problems accessing or replying to emails. That is:
1- It takes a long time for emails to be sent. That is what it would take about half a second is not taking like 2 to 3 minutes.

2- Sometime we cannot access the Web based Horde emails. Not sure if this is the fault of the Horde or the Qmail. For example right now when I try to access our web based email addresses nothing happens at all. That is not even the log-in panel to our emails shows up!

Can you help with what to do to fix this problem?

FYI:
1- I removed all emails in the Qmail queue
2- I stopped and started Qmail
And still nothing.

It wouldn’t surprise me if the server admin has some delays or limits set for sending email. Have you already checked on this?

Hi,

Yes, that is not the problem.
1st, emails were being sent instantaneously up to 2 weeks ago.

2nd, emails are still being sent being instantaneously when sent via a Php page.
But they are not being sent out when sent out by a Jsp page or the Web based email we use which is Horde!!!

Something strange with the SMTP I think.
OTN, when trying to send emails via Horder I get the error message:

There was an error sending your message: Failed to connect to localhost:25 [SMTP: Failed to connect socket: Connection timed out (code: -1, response: )]
