My feeling is that you should pick a domain name that suits your site. If you do that, it will most likely contain appropriate key words. You can use ‘from’ in the domain name, but I wouldn’t do so unless it’s a part of the site / business name.
Thanks sir for your response. My target keywords are “iphone to pc” and “iphone to mac” and both of them are not available with .com,.net, .org and even with variations like “iphone to pc transfer”, “iphonepctransfer” etc.
After considering the above situation i can go for,
pcfromiphone.com ( Highly searched exact keyword with almost 200000 searches and low competetion) But not the name is not much appealing to me personally. I’m not looking for maintaing a brand name, just want to take the advantage of keyword factor in domain. Any other alternatives are welcome too.
How about iphone-to-pc dot com (with hyphens)? That’s available, and the hyphens actually help to isolate the keywords into actual searchable words, so it’s kind of better in a way.
I don’t know, to be honest, but I don’t see why it would be a problem. As I understand it, the hyphens are seen by search engines as word separators, allowing the engines to distinguish the individual words, which seems like a good thing to me. But some other opinions are needed. Do you want this moved to the SEO forum? … as it really seems more to do with that.
