I have been doin seo on a website since december. Its earlier keyword ranking was very poor.Then new keywords and it site was updated. Upto 15 january some of the keywords did well and they came under 100. But i don’t know what is happening all the keywords are goin down.Its ranking has fallen upto 50%. Please help me to sort this problem. Also i have searched no google algorthim has been updated.

When you say you have been “doing SEO” on a site, what exactly do you mean? Some techniques may give you a short-term boost in rankings, but Google (and probably other search engines) will recognise them as an attempt to manipulate results and you will then lose any benefit. You may even find your site penalised.

Scale up your link building. Build some links on high PR sites. Article marketing isn’t valued as high as it use to be but it still helps a little. Build some articles and throw some links in them. Get a press release out there and then backlink every page your press release ends up on. Those are just a couple easy things to do in order to gain a higher ranking, at least in the top 10 pages.
use low competition and high search keywords for promotion.
For all we know, it may be massive/unnatural link building which has caused this problem in the first place.
