Multi-language site best practice for performance

Hi,

I’m currently working on a multi-language site and have a good file structure that appear to work using some ‘include’ files.

So, my site copy are in different php file. I’m wondering if it wouldn’t be more useful to do it using xml file instead.

Is it a good idea?

Is calling xml file each time may become slower than putting everything in an ‘include’ file?

Thank you

turb

I seldom use XML for multilingual purpose.
I follow the codeigniter style i.e. using files which contains contents as an associative array.
