Missing pages In Webmaster tool

Hi members,

in the start of my joomla based website . i installed the Default pages & added a few mine . there were total of 100+ pages on my website … 15 days before i removed the pages from my website [joomla default pages] not webmaster showing 82 missing pages . should i remove them or they will be vanished after some time ? or there is any way to remove them from webmaster , will this help me ? so much confused .

Google webmaster is displaying those 404 not found urls because it cached by google search engine, when it is trying to crawl those pages 404 not found error is thrown by your server. So better created .htaccess and redirect those missing urls to home page.
Thereafter you will not see those 404 not found urls in google webmaster.
