Manage Domain Records

Hi,
i have a blog in.blogspot.com domain now i wanna switch to .com domain so i have bought a domain in .com in blogger setting i have set my custom domain setting but in domain Cpanel i don’t know ho to manage dns record so plz help me to Dns records managing

Hi,

The things you will need:

  1. The public I.P. where your .com site will be hosted
  2. A virtual host setting in the web-server where your .com site is hosted. So if your domain is www.mynewblogdomain.com then the virtual host need to have this host name, folder path directives, permissions to the folders and files, and port (usually 80 or default).
  3. Update an A (Address) record in the control panel that you posted in your picture. The a record has to have the public I.P. and the domain name. When someone types the host/domain name you set in the A record they will route to the public I.P. you have told the dns name to point to, and then the webserver will have a virtual host that will answer to the request and see if the requested page exists.
