Mail function stuff am getting from my wordpress site

i just installed this wordpress login and registration plugin and when u click forget password and type your email to recover the password u will get this error message > ** Error: The e-mail could not be sent.

Possible reason: your host may have disabled the mail() function… **

The “WP Mail Bank” plugin allows you to send emails from WordPress when the mail() function is disabled.
