Low end Buyer Advice

Hi

Im new to this area and i was looking at making 1 or 2 low level investments to try my hat.

I have seen lots of very useful posts on how to protect yourself and value sites with preexisting traffic or monitization sources. However, i was wondering if there was any advice or tips for when considering purchasing ‘new’ sites or ones without any traffic such as new build blog-websites.

I realize that this wont be everyone’s cup of tea but i have seen a couple which look to be nicely designed and are either on a topic that interests me or that i feel has marketable potential.

I guess what id like to know is what should i be verfying or research to make sure i am getting something with potential and not something that could be cobbled together yourself. Im not that tech savvy but get the gist of what a lot of these quick build sites are and its usually the basics but i feel there must be a few gems in the rough if you know what to look for.

My budget would be $0 - $400 (But prefer up to $200 for the first one). If this was your budget what would you look to for and do.

All advice welcome…

Thanks in advance

Jon

Luke, as a Flippa staff member, should you not be identified as such when you post in the forums?

Not that you would have anything but Flippa customers’ best intentions in mind when you post of course.

Right you are @tke71709. I do only have Flippa customer’s best intentions in mind. I’ve amended my user profile and sig accordingly.

And then removed it again…
