Looking for some help with Wordpress and a gallery style homepage

Hello,

Im working on a new site using wordpress and am trying to get a type of gallery on my homepage that will link to posts.

Im trying to find a plugin that will allow me to do this but so far no luck…

To give you an idea of what im trying to do you can check these sites:
