Looking for eCommerce software that shares an inventory with my eBay store

Here’s a little background:

-I’ve got an eBay store and I’m looking to start my own eCommerce website to increase sales.

-Almost all the items I sell are one-of-a-kind (in other words, I only have one of each item).

-I’d like to sell all my items on eBay and my website simultaneously. I’d like the cart to disable the listings on my site if an item sells on eBay and vice-versa.

Does software like this even exist? I tried Highwire and it integrates with eBay…fairly well. However, after using it for a while (I signed up for a trial and paid to make it fully-functional) I’ve found I don’t much care for it.

I’m also in the process of trying out Magento Go. It seems like well-written software, but M2E Pro is geared toward moving products from an eCommerce site (in other words www.mycompany.com) to eBay and not the other way around. I might be able to make it work, but it seems to be to be a far from perfect solution.

I signed up for a trial of Big Commerce last night. I like it a lot but it, too, doesn’t seem to integrate all that well with eBay.

I contacted ChannelAdvisor and their pricing is way out of my league.

I’d like the software to allow me to sell on Amazon, etc. also but I don’t want to get too far ahead of myself. (I’m having a heck of a time finding something that will work with just my website and eBay.)

I’m looking to pay a flat fee per month; paying a percentage of sales is pretty much a deal-breaker.

I’ve been looking and looking and I’m pulling my hair out. Am I looking for something that doesn’t exist, or is there a reasonably-priced (say, less than US$100 per month) solution? Any and all help is GREATLY appreciated!

How about that one:

together with Magento CE?

We’re not using it yet, but that would be our way to do it (since we already have a Magento store up and running).

Lily,

Thanks for the reply!

I’ve been trying out the M2E Pro (the Magento extension in the link you posted). It’s free, which is nice. My understanding is that it’s “supported” by eBay. I’m not sure, but I’d guess that means the developer is paid by eBay. Not surprisingly, it seems designed to easily transfer items listed on a Magento site to eBay, but going the other way isn’t so easy. I’m pretty sure there’s a “work-around”, but it seems to me that it’s really not 100% integrated.
