hey friends!
Have you ever used any logo generator software? if yes then which one have you used?
I have seen a few , when you say ‘logo generator’ i am assuming you mean programs dedicated to making a logo, not just customized templates. I think AAA Logo is decent, of course Adobe Illustrator is the best way to do them.
Adobe illustrator is the best, in my experience.
Adobe is no doubt the best one, but i have heard there exist some logo generator software which will generate you outline of LOGOs if you give them the topic :s
is there any such?
Yes there are Logo generators, they’re fine if you want a generic logo along a general theme. Some of the logo generators are actually alright for a rush job and a little manual tweaking. However they will never be able to compete with good design and understanding of what a clients business is all about.
Given the choice of a bad designer with time and the right software vs a logo generator, I’d probably go with a decent generic logo. The ones I’ve seen have looked more professional than some of the amateur attempts I’ve seen designers do.
Agreed - I wouldn’t trust a logo generator to create anything with value. Logo maid or graphic river have decent logos.
thanks a bunch guys for your valuable suggestions. I will not rely on these generators for a final logo but its good to get some idea from there
How can you get ideas from a generator that hasn’t a clue what your project is about, what kind of brand you’re looking to establish?
A logo is your brand. And your brand is your face to your customers, it’s one of the ways you convey your unique value. The mere idea that a face could be randomly generated by a tool like that actually would push me away from using it. ( if it’s just keywords… why wouldn’t it suggest the same logo for someone else??? ) Whatever a real logo costs is worth both the TIME (if the designer wont spend the time w/you to get a sense of tha uniqueness… he’s not doing much better that this generator) and the money ( after all the designer is spending the time and using his talents for you and no one else on this regards). In that sense generators are not for idea browsing either…
The second bad this is the user. I hate to lecture… but if the user was a lazy designer (lets say the guy who doesn’t spend the time w/your project, you usually get what you pay for…) at least he might not take the logo generator results for granted and question something that to him/her might not seem “right” … and pull the lever an extra time or two looking for something more fitting to your brand. Most non designers, will assume something that cam out of a “machine” that makes logos is a proper logo( sometimes with even more credence than a if it came from a professional who spent weeks researching and fine tuning decisions to develop a mark)and that is VERY dangerous.
Machines are great for production… the point is human creativity and though can never be replaced or diminished w/o major consequences.
mmm that is a good point.
I have fireworks, should I do my logo in that or am I better off looking at illustrator for it…?
Not much experience with both and not very good at drawing too lol
hey thanks for such a great explanation!
i m looking for a Logo for computer club for kids

I favour AI ONLY because vecor can be scaled, and since alogo is is your mark… it is possible (whether is a bad concept or not) that you will need it to be 1/2 an inch tall or 12ft tall. If you use a raster program to create your master logo image, this wont be possible. Other than that consideration there is no wrong program to do your logo in. what you need is a finely honed concept to start.
One of THE BEST logo marks in the TARGET logo.
Do you think it took much to render? But the proportions and the concept are IMPECCABLE and probably took months to derive.
