I built this page and then put it into wordpress and now I can’t get rid of the bullets for the lists. I’m using list-style-type:none in the css, but still the bullets are there. Any suggestions?
You have to put it under ul.
<ul>
<li><a href="#">Home</a></li>
<li><a href="#">Forums</a></li>
<li><a href="#">Resources</a></li>
<li><a href="#">Marketplace</a></li>
<li><a href="#">Bookstore</a></li>
<li><a href="#">Courses</a></li>
</ul>
ul {
list-style-type: none;
}
If you don’t know how to override Wordpress CSS, you may consider using inline CSS.
<ul style="list-style-type: none;">
<li><a href="#">Home</a></li>
<li><a href="#">Forums</a></li>
<li><a href="#">Resources</a></li>
<li><a href="#">Marketplace</a></li>
<li><a href="#">Bookstore</a></li>
<li><a href="#">Courses</a></li>
</ul>
You can use !important to override inline CSS. Thought may be you should know.
<ul style="list-style-type: square;">
<li><a href="#">Home</a></li>
<li><a href="#">Forums</a></li>
<li><a href="#">Resources</a></li>
<li><a href="#">Marketplace</a></li>
<li><a href="#">Bookstore</a></li>
<li><a href="#">Courses</a></li>
</ul>
ul[style] {
list-style-type: none !important;
}
thx that worked
