All they are No Follow links but useful, links with no follow property doesn’t mean that crawler not crawl on them.
Are you calling Matt Cutts a liar? He clearly said that google does not crawl a nofollow link … that why its “nofollow”!!!
4.8 seconds if your twitter handle begins with the letter ‘E’. Otherwise it takes 4.2 seconds :x.
I know that, I want to know why the original poster thinks they are important (other than posting a fluff post to try and link drop a fake signature)
It treats them just like any other “nofollow” links
As the links from there are ‘nofollow’ care to explain how Google “treats then just like any other”?

No, Google doesn’t treat facebook or twitter links like any other, though it takes into account if a website was “mentioned” at social networking websites.
well there is no fix time for this but don’t worry you just try to add fresh content and google will take notice about content very soon
does anyone know how long does it take for google to fetch my twitter site?
Thanks for sharing. Google’s new update caffeine may pay more attention to social websites such as FB, twitter.
