Hi,

I have developed software application to sell online to clients all over the world.

I have 17 modules and dashboard reports in the application and cost in $$$$$.

I want to attach license to software so that no one call resell or distribute other than me.

How to create license for software and publish on my website.

Currently I can not disclose software application name and my website on the forum.

Please guide me to create license for my application , which license to choose (name) and sell online using professional cost quotation and publish license information on website.

Hi,

I want to license software like vBulletin.

I will give source code with software application.

User can modify the source for his or her own site but cannot redistribute it.

License that allows, for example, study and modification, but not redistribution.

If I mention software license information on my website and add license file in software application it will be done?

You’re talking more like a specific kind of end-user licensing agreement (EULA), which can be tricky based on the laws for where you live.

If I were you, I’d find a local intellectual property lawyer - if they don’t know, they’d be able to point you in the right direction. At least in the the US, most times initial consults are free or low cost, so it doesn’t hurt to ask.

I found website name Creative Commons and they have list of license.

I check but did not found License that allows, for example, study and modification, but not redistribution.

I am looking for any website Creative Commons to do license.
