I’m reading a book on vagrant. Trying to learn about creating a proper development environment. As I’m reading it I realize I need to better understand networking. I am not sure where to start. I want to better understand ports, local networking, etc, etc. I just need more context in order to process some details with Vagrant and virtual machines.
You’re probably right. Even if you don’t need to become a networking master to learn about Vagrant and similar technologies, having a working understanding of networking could definitely help you. Maybe try looking for some beginner tutorials or courses, something that could introduce you to the basics without you having to invest a lot of time in them since it’s not your actual subject of interest?
