Keywords proximity and keywords density?

Hello friends,

What is Difference between Keywords proximity and keywords density ?

Thanks

I’m a bit disapointed about keyword proximity. When you search for some a two-word phrase, Google often combines a word from the title with the second word from somewhere in the article text - which makes no sense.

Those who actually know anything about SEO did - it’s the muppets and parrots that won’t let them go…

Hi
Key word density means key word are a phrase appear maximum time in total number of words in a web pages. Its help to target the e key words in major search engine.

I’m not sure that’s right. Keyword proximity refers to how close particular keywords are to each other in the text. So, for example, a page that refers to “apples” and “pears” in the same sentence four times will probably do better in a search for “apples and pears” than one that mentions apples 4 times and pears 4 times but without the terms being close together.

proximity is a keywords closeness. As a law, firm are two keyword while proximity is “law firm” “Firm law”.

R you think a phrases but this example is a proximity and phrases is a one keyword by how many keywords.

kw density is the total number of keywords in a page.

I thought SEO’s stopped being concerned about these being ranking issues years ago…

Keyword density refers to the ratio (percentage) of keywords contained within the total number of indexable words within a web page.

The preferred keyword density ratio varies from search engine to search engine. In general, I recommend using a keyword density ratio in the range of 2-8%.

Keyword proximity refers to the closeness between two or more keywords. In general, the closer the keywords are, the better.

For example:

Using the example above, if someone searched for “search engine rankings,” a web page containing the first sentence is more likely to rank higher than the second.

The reason is because the keywords are placed closer together. This is assuming that everything else is equal, of course.
