Jquery mobile adds space below footer

Have not worked w/jquery-mobile before but wanted to try and use it this time. Especially to deal w/the touch on a link w/a drop down menu.
So i have added the library & css to my wp site http://agileart.us/
However once added the jquery-mobile adds a sizable white space below the footer w/the text “loading”. I googled for an answer & adding to the footer:
data-role=“footer” data-position=“fixed”
should have worked.
Did not. How could i go about fixing this? Hope someone here use this library quite a bit.
thx

You can’t really drop jquery mobile into an existing site I’m afraid, if you want to learn what it does you’ll need to start with a blank document and try adding the components in one at a time.

Like Bootstrap, it has a many components you can use to make a site, you can’t lay it over the top of an existing one.

yah will have to rethink this :slight_smile:

I’d have to say it looks like the problem is w/jqm prevent a google .js link from loading.

Failed to load resource: net::ERR_FAILED
XHR failed loading: GET “chrome-extension://boadgeojelhgndaghljhdicfkmllpafd/cast_sender.js”.
