Using http://docs.joomla.org/Adding_JavaScript, I added java script to my template, but it just won’t work.
http://www.handsoncomputing.co.nz/nonjoomlademo/ shows you what should happen. If you click on the bottom down arrow at the end of the document, the text scrolls down.
In the joomla template however, nothing happens.

I don’t really anything about JS or how it works so not sure what to look at. I think the issue though is more my lack of understanding JS and its relationship to joomla.
