Issue with IE7 and and float or display - not sure

if you take a look at this link http://northshorewebdesign.net/walkboston/index.html there’s a set of 4 icons for navigation near the bottom left. You’ll notice that rather than sitting horizontally, they’re diagonal - not what I want. In FF, Chrome, IE9 the icons line up horizontally the way they should. Can someone tell me why the go diagonally in IE7? I have set display: inline; and float: left;

You simply need to float the li’s.

	ul#icon-links li {
 float:left;
	}

Thank you Craig. Why would it work w/out the float in other browsers and later versions of IE? -just curious

The older version of IEs (including 7) are very buggy, so don’t find it strange that sometimes you have to do this or that just to make it work with them.
