just wondering if you can password protect site support documents such as javascript and css files.
my guess is no, since the password requirement would block browser access.

Someone asked me that question some time ago. He was desperate to protect certain files.I use Coldfusion for my server side scripting and I actually used the same authorize script I used for the admin section and it worked fine. As soon as someone tried to to download something from one of those folders they were redirected to a 404 page.
good to know, but the referenced processes are way over my front-end designer head. is this an easy process? are there any “plug and play” resources?
