Is JPEGTRAN installed

Hi

i read that JPEGTRAN is part of libjpeg

so i checked under GD on server

GD Support enabled 
GD Version bundled (2.1.0 compatible) 
JPEG Support enabled 
libJPEG Version 6b

So does these things mean that “JPEGTRAN” is installed on server

or i will have to install “JPEGTRAN” separately ??

Isn’t jpegtran a command line utility? Just try to run it to find out if present. If your not sure where it would be use locate or find commands (provided you are in linux/bsd).

I was responding to the question about jpegtran being installed or not. For this PHP question, I suggest creating a new question in the PHP area of the forum.

P.S., You probably want to use the whole library of https://github.com/bensquire/php-image-optim rather than try and copy a single file within it.
